Key to Jets could be Chris Ivory

Jets RB Chris Ivory was acquired in a draft-day trade with the Saints and is one of the keys to the Jets' season.

The Jets need Ivory to become a 15-carries-a-game back. They see him as a poor man's Marshawn Lynch, a big, bruising runner with the ability to wear down a defense.

The concern with Ivory is that he's never done it for a full season, and that's nothing to take lightly at the running-back position.

Fantasy Impact:

While the Jets need Ivory to step up, and it seems like he'll be given a chance, there are some other experienced backs on the team as well: Mike Goodson, Bilal Powell and Joe McKnight. Ivory has certainly shown flashes, but has also struggled with injuries. We rank Ivory 19th among RBs with an ADP of the 6th round. The team is hoping Ivory can produce as an RB1, but if he can't, it could turn into a committee situation.
