From the looks of 49er practice, one of the newbies, second-round tight end Vance McDonald from Rice, could get a very long look in the preseason.

Fantasy Impact:

Reported by Peter King, this makes a lot of sense if the team plans to use Vernon Davis more as a wide receiver. Keep an eye on this situation as McDonald could climb the charts quickly.
