Colts WR Griff Whalen has become an immediate fan favorite.

Luck’s former Stanford teammate, who is wearing Austin Collie’s old No. 17, has been steady for two days. He was a good receiver last preseason, too, but that was against third- and fourth-string guys who were looking for work at the end of preseason.

What will be telling is how Whalen does against starters and backups.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.
