For the first time in training camp, tight end Vernon Davis was seen for the first time with the wide receivers against the cornerbacks in one-on-one drills. Davis was matched against Tramaine Brock, who had good coverage. However, Colin Kaepernick made a back-shoulder throw on which Davis turned and made a remarkable one-handed catch.

Davis appeared to sustained a minor foot or ankle injury on a running play. He sat out the final 35 minutes of practice.

Fantasy Impact:

We'll be sure to monitor the Davis injury, but it's interesting to see Davis was working with the WRs. We posted a story last week that Davis, despite reports, had yet to workout at the position.

CB Jakorian Bennett was placed on the IR, out for at least the next 4 games.

Nate Hobbs and Zamir White out tomorrow against the Chiefs, Alexander Mattison questionable.

Chiefs kicker Spencer Shrader is out.

Fantasy Impact:

The Raiders backfield is a mess, and it's going to be difficult to fire up Mattison, even if he does play. Consider him, or whichever eventual starter, a fringe RB3/4.
