Despite Giants RB Andre Brown's fumble Saturday night against the Steelers, Brown will play a major role in the offense.
Perhaps because the Giants still don’t trust RB David Wilson in pass protection (he was kept in as a pass-blocker just once in the first quarter), Brown handled third-down back duties against Pittsburgh. He finished the night with four carries for 23 yards.
Fantasy Impact:
Wilson is more of the third-down back mold, but right now it looks like Brown could get those duties until Wilson's pass-protection comes along. Brown could also get short-yardage and goal line work, and right now it seems his fumble won't get him in Tom Coughlin's doghouse - yet.
