Steelers are now planning to play RB LeVeon Bell this week.
The Steelers say Bell has progressed faster than they thought, according to Glazer. It's amazing how that can happen when you're 0-3 with not much of a running game - Bell was originally planning to play Week 6 after a Week 5 bye. Don't be surprised if Bell gets a lot of the workload, but it's also likely Felix Jones and Jonathan Dwyer see time as well against the Vikings, with the likely scenario being Isaac Redman is inactive, according to other reports. Bell could be a RB3 option when our rankings come out Wednesday. Keep in mind it's a struggling offensive line, but he does have long term value and will likely get a lot of work going forward as long as he can stay healthy. It could be the shot in the arm the Steelers need.
