As Tom Curran of CSN New England explained, the Patriots have put out the word to quit talking about any injured players.
As a result, it has been difficult if not impossible to get updates regarding receiver Danny Amendola (apparent concussion).
Not like the Pats were ever forthcoming with injuries, but the recent reports about Rob Gronkowski's status has prompted even more of a shutdown. HC Bill Belichick said at one point this year he considers all of his injured players questionable, so even when the injury report comes out Wednesday, we still may not know much about Amendola. Amendola was hit helmet-to-helmet against the Saints and was very wobbly. Based on the hit and how he looked after, it would be a surprise for him to play this week. The good news is, the Pats are in New York for an early game, so we'll know statuses for any injured players an hour before the game.
