New York Giants running back David Wilson, who has not played since injuring his neck in a game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Oct. 6, will have an MRI on his neck this week that Dr. Robert Watkins will review to determine when or if he's able to play again this season, a league source told ESPN.

It is the second MRI that Watkins will examine, and he wants to compare it to the first to see how much Wilson's neck has healed.

Fantasy Impact:

Wilson's MRI is today according to beat writers. There was a talk a few weeks back that Wilson could play this week if all went well, but that may not be the case depending on how this MRI turns out. Andre Brown looks like he'll return this week, however, so there is no need to rush along Wilson. But it does seem like the results of this MRI will go a long way to determine his fate for the rest of this season.
