The San Francisco 49ers will have Michael Crabtree at practice for the first time in 2013.
The fifth-year wideout has been cleared to practice with the 49ers as of Tuesday.
Crabtree suffered a torn Achilles during Organized Team Activities and is now able to join his teammates as they prepare for a Nov. 10 home game against the Carolina Panthers.
The story points out that Crabtree’s return could happen as early as mid-to-late November, according to the team. He now has a 21-day period to practice, allowing the 49ers to determine when he will be activated off the team’s Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list. The team is about to get Mario Manningham back, and the addition of Crabtree later this month would be a huge boost for QB Colin Kaepernick.
