Marcus Lattimore is 'ready,' rehab is 'over'

The 49ers expect Marcus Lattimore to be a contributor in 2014.

“Whatever role they want me to do, I’m ready,” Lattimore said Saturday in a phone interview from Columbus, Ohio, where he is working with EAS Sports Nutrition. "The rehab is over.”

Fantasy Impact:

Lattimore and teammate Kendall Hunter are a threat to eat into Frank Gore's touches. Gore was relatively unproductive down the stretch in 2013.

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
