Ravens sign Steve Smith

Ravens and WR Steve L Smith reached an agreement.

Fantasy Impact:

After finishing in the top 20 at his position in seven of of his eight seasons from 2005 to 2012, Smith was the #43 WR in 2013, losing a step due to his age (34). He should be able to help the Ravens, who are still trying to replace Anquan Boldin. His arrival puts a dent in the upside of Marlon Brown, who posted 49-524-7 as a rookie. From a fantasy standpoint, Smith is likely a WR4/WR5 heading into the 2014 season.

Fantasy Impact:

This puts Schoonmaker more or less in TE streaming consideration, but there are far better options this week, which puts him low on the totem pole.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith officially Out for Week 12

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
