If you played football for a living, were really good at playing football and then suddenly could no longer play football, what would you do? Josh Gordon is going to sell cars.
Gordon, who was suspended by the NFL for all of 2014, "will be the goodwill ambassador for the Sarchione Auto group in Randolph, Ohio," ESPN's Josina Anderson reports.
As part of his gig, the suspended Browns receiver will be "an on-floor salesman" and also "heading all of their local community efforts" which includes working with the Wounded Warriors.
Pro Football Talk is still reporting that Gordon is considering litigation, but that is looking less likely by the day. We're still recommending owners hold on to him through the weekend and see if anything develops prior to Week 2 waivers. Nothing is likely to happen, but unless there is a great opportunity sitting on the waiver wire, it's not necessarily worth it to part ways with Gordon.
