Arian Foster missed eight games in 2013 and sat out the entire preseason slate, but Houston Texans coach Bill O'Brien said he plans to ride the veteran running back in his first game back on Sunday against the Washington Redskins.
"Arian's going to play a lot," O'Brien said, per the Houston Chronicle. "After that, we'll see how it goes."
"I believe at some point you'll see all three of those other backs: Jonathan Grimes, Alfred Blue and Ronnie Brown in different situations. But Arian will get the bulk of the playing time," O'Brien said.
Foster says he's healthy and he should see a ton of work as long as he's upright. Grimes is his handcuff for now, but rookie Alfred Blue is waiting in the wings.
