DeSean Jackson's availability in Week 3 could come down to pain threshold
Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson might be able to suit up Sunday in Philadelphia after all. Coach Jay Gruden said on Monday that Jackson has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 sprain of the AC joint in his left shoulder.
“He’ll be day-to-day,” Gruden said.
Jackson’s availability for Sunday’s game, Gruden said, could come down to his pain threshold.
“Depends on if he can play with the pain [whether] he’ll be good to go on Sunday,” Gruden said. “But we’ll have a better idea probably Thursday or Friday where he is.”
Because this week's game is in Philadelphia, the team who released Jackson, it might be a good bet that Jackson is a go. However, if that's the case, he may not be 100-percent so this is something for owners to monitor. It's a potentially a good matchup for Washington WRs.
