Jake Long's season has again been cut short by a serious knee injury.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday that an MRI confirmed the St. Louis Rams left tackle tore his ACL in Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, according to a source who has spoken with Long. It is the same ACL that Long tore last season.
Fantasy Impact:
It's a crushing blow for both the Rams and Long, who signed a four-year, $34 million contract with the team in March 2013. Coming back from his second major knee surgery, Long makes sense as a cap casualty in the offseason.
