Texans Beat: Arian Foster on track to return in Week 5

Texans beat writer John McClain: Arian Foster will miss his 2nd game Sunday. He has to practice a couple of weeks before he can play. I still think he'll miss four games and return for the Colts.

Fantasy Impact:

This would mean Foster would return in Week 5. His recovery timeline has been all over the map. A national writer said he could even return as early as this week, but McClain is a respected, plugged in beat writer, so we tend to believe him.

Fantasy Impact:

This puts Schoonmaker more or less in TE streaming consideration, but there are far better options this week, which puts him low on the totem pole.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith officially Out for Week 12

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
