Dez Update: 'real shot' to play Week 7

Dallas Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones appeared on the G Bag Nation on 103.5 KRLD The Fan on Monday.

He said Dez Bryant was examined late last week.

"There's been no setbacks," Jones said. Says there's a "real shot" he could play after Week 6 bye against the New York Giants.

Fantasy Impact:

That continues to be the news out of Dallas in terms of Bryant's status. We reported a story last week saying the team thought he could return during the Week 6 bye and play by Week 7. It's still hard to trust what a player or team says about injuries, and as owners know, reports said Bryant would miss anywhere from four weeks to the rest of the season. If you believe what the Cowboys are saying, it continues to look good for a Bryant return sooner than later.
