The Tampa Bay Buccaneers cut Kyle Brindza on Monday after the kicker missed two field goal attempts and an extra point attempt during Sunday's loss to Carolina.
Brindza, a rookie out of Notre Dame, made 6 of 12 field goal attempts -- including just 2 of his last 7 -- and was 6-of-8 on extra points this season.
The Bucs gained Brindza in a trade that sent tight end Tim Wright to the Detroit Lions on Aug. 31.
