FanDuel Week 5 GPP Breakdown
Last week, Devonta Freeman was 87.5-percent under-owned in the Sunday Million. Below, I'll focus on players I believe to be strong tournament plays based on multi-touchdown upside and low projected ownership. I won't blurb chalk plays (Tom Brady, LeVeon Bell, Julian Edelman, Larry Fitzgerald, Jeremy Maclin, Keenan Allen, Rob Gronkowski, and the Broncos) -- they're all justifiable GPP options but you won't take home big money by stuffing your entire lineup with them. Use chalk plays selectively, a few at a time, filling out the rest of your lineup with players likely to be low-owned who have that multi-touchdown upside. As usual, I draw heavily from my Ownership Outlook column, and all the players I highlight below are players I believe you should have more exposure to than the field will. Since who you fade can be just as important as who you play in a GPP, I've also added a "Fades" section at the end where I briefly highlight any highly-owned players that I believe you should have less exposure to than the field, or no exposure to at all.

Passing Game
For the first time all season, fantasy WR1 Julio Jones ($9,200) isn't amongst the top three highest-owned WRs, likely due to recency bias from last week's game-script-induced clunker. The Redskins are missing CB DeAngelo Hall, and CB Chris Culliver has a knee issue. Over the last three weeks, Washington has allowed opposing WRs to post 16.8 yards per catch, 10.6 yards per target, and TDs on 11 percent of their targets. Nine of the Falcons' 15 offensive TDs have come on the ground this season, but the league average of two passing TDs for every rushing TD suggests regression is coming, which would help Matt Ryan ($8,300). Ryan is second in the NFL in passing yards -- the only thing missing has been TDs. The Redskins rank 25th in QB aFPA.
SUNDAY MORNING UPDATE: Jones (hamstring) was listed as questionable on the injury report and reports are he likely will play, but it is worth noting that his questionable tag represents a downgrade from his probable tag going in to last week's game. If Jones is at less than 100 percent, it would make stacking Ryan with Leonard Hankerson ($6,000) a viable option.
