The New Orleans Saints just can't seem to catch a break right now it seems. While it seemed that things may be taking a turn in the right direction after an overtime victory against the Dallas Cowboys, it took a complete 180 on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Not only did the Saints lose to the Eagles 39-17, but it seems that Drew Brees lost one of his more reliable targets in Marques Colston as well, according to Evan Woodbery of The Times Picayune, who tweeted: "Saints WR Marques Colston had right arm in sling after game."
The extent of Colston's injury is unknown, but it'll obviously be something to monitor on a short week, as the Saints face the Falcons on Thursday night. During the game, the broadcast crew noted Colston kept his arm close to his side, which obviously made it difficult to catch passes. Willie Snead seems to have passed Colston as the team's WR2 behind Bradin Cooks.
