Despite being the Steelers' third-leading receiver with 17 catches, Darrius Heyward-Bey might be relegated to the bench Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
Martavis Bryant was removed from the suspended list Tuesday after missing the first five games of the season and likely will take away most of Heyward-Bey's snaps.
Still, Heyward-Bey is hoping to contribute in other ways.
“My focus is whatever Coach Tomlin needs me to do,” he said. “My job is to play every position on the field, whether it is X, Z or F. Whatever they need me to do, I will do.”
Heyward-Bey has 17 receptions for 209 yards and is tied for the team lead with two touchdown receptions. But as predicted in the beginning of the season, Bryant, Antonio Brown and Markus Wheaton will likely make up the top-three Steeler WRs on a typical week.
