According to a report by NJ Advance Media, Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is expected to play against the Eagles on Monday night, despite suffering from a hamstring injury he suffered last week.
Although you never want a player to be injured, there is no denying that the Eagles wouldn't have minded Beckham taking an extra week to rest his injured hamstring, especially given the importance of Monday night's game.
Obviously, with any hamstring injury, Beckham's status will be worth monitoring throughout the game. Especially with a player like Beckham, who is one of the fastest receivers in the NFL, a hamstring injury could seriously impact his ability on Monday night.
Beckham will come with risks if he's inserted into fantasy lineups, but at this point he's probably worth those risks. We'll likely hear a lot more grumblings about his status leading up to the game, and of course we'll know for sure when the inactives come out around 7 p.m. eastern time Monday.
