FanDuel Week 8 GPP Breakdown
Below, I'll focus on players I believe to be strong tournament plays based on multi-touchdown upside and low projected ownership. I won't blurb chalk plays (Philip Rivers, Todd Gurley, Justin Forsett, Stefon Diggs, Keenan Allen, Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant, Tyler Eifert, Chris Boswell, Josh Lambo, and the Rams) -- they're all justifiable GPP options -- particularly Gurley and Brown -- but you won't take home big money by stuffing your entire lineup with chalk. Use chalk plays selectively, a few at a time, filling out the rest of your lineup with a few players likely to be low-owned who have that multi-touchdown upside, allowing you to differentiate from the field and shoot up the leaderboard. As usual, I draw heavily from my Ownership Outlook column, and all the players I highlight below are players I believe you should have more exposure to than the field will. Since who you fade can be just as important as who you play in a GPP, I've also added a "Fades" section at the end where I briefly highlight any highly-owned players that I believe you should have less exposure to than the field, or no exposure to at all.

Passing Game
Only Tom Brady has scored more FanDuel points per game than Andy Dalton ($8,100), who gets a matchup against a Steelers defense that defends the run (7th in RB aFPA) better than the pass (17th in QB aFPA). This matchup should be no problem for Dalton, who eclipsed 20 FanDuel points in three matchups versus teams ranked in the top 10 in QB aFPA. A.J. Green ($8,200) has averaged 17.8 FanDuel points in 33 career road games, but only 11.6 FanDuel points in 32 career home games. The Bengals will be in Pittsburgh this Sunday. Green has caught at least eight balls in each of his last three meetings against the Steelers.
