Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee Sunday in Houston.
Tennessee is already an unproductive mess at receiver.
Harry Douglas has missed the past two games with an injury to his ribs, and Justin Hunter and rookie second-round draft pick Dorial Green-Beckham are unthreatening route runners who are confused about what they are doing a good share of the time. Rico Richardson has been called up from the practice squad the past two weeks and has not been given any real chance to contribute.
As the story said, Wright is the best of the group by far, and he’s the Titans' second-leading pass catcher behind tight end Delanie Walker. Wright has 28 catches for 343 yards and a team-best three touchdowns. The story added we don’t know the severity of the sprain yet but his status is certainly up in the air.
