The Buffalo Bills grabbed their fourth win of the season with a 33-17 victory over the Miami Dolphins. With the win, they moved into sole possession of third place in the AFC East, thanks to big days from its playmakers.
LeSean McCoy had a strong game, rushing for 112 yards on just 16 carries. In the fourth quarter, however, he left with a shoulder injury and did not return. Fortunately, the Bills had control of the game and weren't in any danger of losing, so McCoy didn't have to come back in.
After the game, McCoy said he could have checked back in had it been closer, but he and the coaching staff didn't feel it was necessary. Additionally, McCoy gave an update on how he'll be ahead of Thursday night's game against the Jets.
Sounds like the Bills were just being cautious with McCoy and he's expected to be fine despite the short week. The Bills have a tough, Thursday night matchup at the Jets in Week 11. Karlos Williams also had a big game and could be in line for a few extra carries if McCoy isn't 100-percent. Williams has been a nice play even in limited work behind McCoy.
