Per NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, Broncos QB Peyton Manning has a torn plantar fascia in his right foot.
Plantar fascia is the tissue connects a person's heel to their toes, and can cause immense pain and swelling when disturbed.
Essentially, Manning had no arch in one of his feet against the Chiefs on Sunday, severely limiting his ability to create power or push from his lower body.
Manning amassed a 0.0 quarterback rating and hurled four awful interceptions, eventually getting replaced by Brock Osweiler so it perhaps explains some of the struggles against KC. Manning's status for Week 11 is now in doubt meaning Osweiler could get the start. It's an early afternoon matchup at Chicago, which is a fairly favorable matchup. Osweiler certainly will have some weapons to work with and may have QB2 potential when our rankings come out.
