Report: Mark Sanchez expected to start Week 11

For the second year in a row, it looks like it's up to Mark Sanchez to save the Eagles season, which probably isn't an ideal situation for Eagles fans.

According to NFL.com, Sanchez is expected to be the Eagles (4-5) starting quarterback for this Sunday's Week 11 game against the Buccaneers.

During a press conference on Monday, Eagles coach Chip Kelly wouldn't confirm whether or not Sanchez would be starting his team's next two games. However, Kelly did say he has confidence in Sanchez.

"I feel very confident in Mark Sanchez," Kelly said, via the Philadelphia Daily News.

Fantasy Impact:

Sanchez will also likely be the starter in Week 12 against the Lions since the Eagles are playing on Thanksgiving and will only have four days of rest. The Eagles haven't confirmed this yet but Bradford is apparently dealing with a concussion and a sprained AC joint in his non-throwing shoulder. Sanchez has potential in this offense which should actually run at a higher tempo with him under center. Sanchez should also continue his connection with Jordan Matthews after helping him bust out a bit last season. But without a lot of other help, esp. at WR, Sanchez's fantasy value is capped a bit.
