Fozzy Whittaker could have 'serious' ankle injury

Panthers RB Fozzy Whittaker left with what looked like a serious ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact:

The story said the ankle injury could speed up the healing process for Jonathan Stewart, but the Panthers already have at least a bye clinched and may not risk Stewart in Week 17. Cameron Artis-Payne averaged 9.8 yards on five carries and broke off a 31-yard gain in the second quarter. But he only had one carry in the second half. He could see a bigger workload in Week 17, although he was supposed to see more significant work this week as well.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
