DraftKings Wild Card Round Cash/GPP Breakdown
The Wild Card round brings us three rematches, which can be tricky for fantasy purposes. For example, since Travis Kelce dropped a 6-106-2 line on Houston in their first meeting, odds are the Texans game plan to ensure that does not happen again, which would then benefit Jeremy Maclin. Obviously, that is just an educated guess, but it is definitely something to consider.
Because of the short slate, I recommend scaling back on cash games and focusing more on tournaments this week. Especially with the low salary floor on DraftKings, don't be afraid to "punt" a position with a minimum-priced option (Jaelen Strong, Jarius Wright, and Cooper Helfet are our top values at minimum price) in tournaments in order to fit in what you think may be a combination of the slate's highest scorers. Especially on a short slate, many times pairing up the day's highest scorers can overcome having an inexpensive dud in one of your roster slots.

Cash Game Breakdown
QB A.J. McCarron $5,200 vs. PIT
On this limited Wild Card slate, McCarron is our top value at QB, which is mainly due to the fact that no QB stands out as an absolute must-play this weekend (the top QB, Russell Wilson, is projected only 2.9 points higher than McCarron, but costs $1,800 more). McCarron also has the best matchup of any QB, as Pittsburgh is ranked 25th in QB aFPA. In Week 14, McCarron went 22-of-32 for 280 yards with 2 TDs and 2 interceptions in a relief appearance against the Steelers.
