Scouting report

CIN WR Alex Erickson - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Pittsburgh
Alex Erickson will move into the starting lineup this week as Auden Tate is not supposed to play and A.J. Green is still out. After putting up some good numbers for a couple of weeks, Erickson has one catch for zero yards over the past two games. Most of that is because rookie QB Ryan Finley continues to struggle.

Erickson will face the Steelers who are 12th in aFPA to wide receivers, Even with a neutral matchup and a chance to start, his recent numbers will keep him on your fantasy bench for Week 12.

CIN WR Alex Erickson - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Oakland
Alex Erickson's run over the past several weeks came to an end with the first start by rookie quarterback Ryan Finley. The two failed to connect last Sunday and it was only the second game this season he didn't have a catch.

Erickson has a great matchup against Oakland who was 30th in aFPA to wide receivers. But the overall offense with a rookie quarterback is too much to expect good enough numbers from him for Week 11. Keep him on the bench.

CIN WR Alex Erickson - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Baltimore
He's still the third receiver for Cincinnati but has put the best numbers up over the last two games. Alex Erickson has 14 receptions for 234 yards over that span. QB Andy Dalton has been benched and rookie Ryan Finley will take over. This probably won't help Erickson who has had a connection with Dalton.

The Ravens are next and are 18th in aFPA to wide receivers. Erickson has moved up the fantasy rankings, but still is a bench player at this point. Plus there is too much unknown about Finley.

CIN WR Alex Erickson - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Los Angeles Rams
Alex Erickson exploded last week with eight receptions for 137 yards and targeted 14 times during the game - all season-highs. Erickson has been a decent receiver in the past but this game took everyone by surprise.

Cincinnati will face the Rams this Sunday and are ranked 10th in aFPA to wide receivers. Although, it was a great fantasy day for Erickson, we don't expect that to be the norm. He is on the fantasy map, but not considered a starter in any fantasy league. If he puts up big numbers this week, you might want to consider him for depth on your roster.

CIN WR Alex Erickson - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs Jacksonville
Alex Erickson was targeted six times last week against Baltimore after being targeted nine times the previous five games. Although Erickson is getting playing time as the Bengals third receiver, there hasn't been enough consistent action most of the season to be considered for your fantasy roster.
