CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Los Angeles Rams

Allen Robinson took a bit of a downturn in production last week, finishing 5-53 on nine targets, all season lows with Nick Foles at quarterback. But even though it wasn't a dominating performance, it was still a solid game overall for the Bears' No. 1 receiver. Robinson still leads the league in targets (66), and will continue to get looks as the season moves on. He does get a tough matchup against Jalen Ramsey and the Rams this week, however. The Rams are fourth in fewest passing yards per game (209.5) and No. 2 in aFPA wide receivers this season. Robinson is still a solid WR2 play in Week 7, but he takes a hit from his usual WR1 designation.

CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Carolina Panthers

Allen Robinson has been his most productive with Nick Foles at quarterback in Chicago as he came off a strong 10-90 game last week where he saw a ridiculous 16 targets. He's averaging over 100 yards per game over the past three weeks, and we're projecting him to finish around that mark again in Week 6 against the Panthers. The Panthers are a tough matchup (No. 2 in aFPA), but we still like A-Rob in low-end WR1 territory. Robinson leads the league in total targets (57), and it's ridiculous to think about benching someone getting that kind of volume.

CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Allen Robinson has now topped 100 yards in the two games Nick Foles has played this season. Despite a tough matchup, A-Rob finished 7-101-1 in Week 4, now scoring in back-to-back weeks. He gets a solid matchup this week against the Bucs (No. 22 aFPA), where he has a chance to hit 100 yards again. We're projecting him to finish around 90 receiving yards, making him a lower-end WR1 play in Week 5.

CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Colts

Allen Robinson had a breakout game last week, finishing 10-123-1 on 13 targets. He saw seven targets from Mitch Trubisky compared to six from Foles. He went 5-69 on Trubisky's targets and 4-54-1 on Foles' targets, so there was no dramatic difference within that game. Still, the Bears seemed to perform better overall with Foles under center, which bodes well for A-Rob moving forward. Robinson does draw a tough matchup this week against the Colts, who are seventh in aFPA. But we still like Robinson as a WR1 play this week.

CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Atlanta Falcons

Allen Robinson saw a team-high nine targets last week, but had a weak game, finishing 3-33 with no touchdowns. He should bounce back this week in a favorable matchup against the Falcons, who are allowing the second-most passing yards in the league (372.0). Robinson has seen double the amount of targets as anyone on the Bears, so even though his 3-33 performance was a letdown, it's not like he isn't getting opportunities. We like him as a lower-end WR1 in a good Week 3 matchup against Atlanta.

CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. New York Giants

Allen Robinson finished with a team-high nine targets in Week 1, finishing 5-74-0. During the week, he removed all references to the Bears on his social media pages, which brought up trade rumors. Robinson says he wants to finish the season with the Bears, but he doesn't appear to be fully happy with the front office. In the mean time, he draws favorable Week 2 matchup against the Giants, who struggled to stop the Steelers' receivers in Week 1. Robinson is a top-tier talent in a great matchup, making him an easy WR1 play in Week 2.

CHI WR Allen Robinson - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at Detroit Lions

It's fair to be concerned about the production of Bears receivers when Mitch Trubisky is throwing the ball, but Allen Robinson found a way to succeed anyways. He finished as the No. 8 WR (PPR) in 2019, and there's no reason for an obvious dropoff in production for 2020. He gets a favorable Week 1 matchup against Detroit, a team he played well against last year with 6-86-0 and 8-86-1 outings. He should be viewed as a strong WR1 vs. the Lions.
