Scouting report

PHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs New York Giants
After missing some time with injuries, Alshon Jeffery exploded last week with nine receptions for 137 yards and a touchdown. It was his best overall game of the season and it showed how much they have missed him in recent weeks.

New York is up next and the Giants are ranked 23rd in aFPA to wide receivers. Jeffery had mixed results in the two meetings against New York last season. He caught eight balls in the first meeting, two of them going for touchdowns. He was held to three catches in the second game.

Start Jeffery but only as a WR3 in both standard and PPR leagues. He should have a decent game but nothing like last week.

PHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Miami
Alshon Jeffery has not played the past two weeks but should be back against the Dolphins. It will give the Eagles their best wide receiver option which they could really use since their passing game has struggled.

Miami is ranked 31st in aFPA to wide receivers so it is a good matchup for Jeffery, but he has struggled overall this season and still might not be 100% healthy. Keep Jeffery on the bench for Week 13.

PHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Seattle
Alshon Jeffery missed last week's game but is expected to return and that's a good thing with Nelson Agholor now out. The Eagles have had issues all year with the health of their skill players and that continues to happen.

Jeffery will face the Seahawks who are 13th in aFPA to wide receivers. The Eagles scored 10 points last week and probably will struggle on offense this week. Keep Jeffery on the bench for Week 12.

PHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs New England
After a 10-reception game against Minnesota, Alshon Jeffery has had only a total of 10 receptions over the last three games. The Eagles passing game has been quiet, but he remains their best wide receiver option.

Jeffery will face the Patriots who are 1st in aFPA to wide receivers in 2019. Combine this tough matchup and the Eagles passing game just being average in recent weeks, Jeffery doesn't warrant a spot in your fantasy lineup for Week 11. Keep him on the bench.

PHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Chicago
Last week, Alshon Jeffery had four catches for 64 yards. He is still the best Eagles wide receiver, but his numbers have been up and down. The Eagles passing game hasn't been what was expected so Jeffery's numbers have struggled.

He will now face his former team, Chicago, who is 6th in aFPA to wide receivers. Probably not the best matchup for the Philly passing game to shake off the cobwebs.

Start Jeffery as a low-end WR3 for Week 9. The veteran will be held in check against his old team.

PHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Buffalo
Alshon Jeffery's targets have been there for the past four weeks. In that time, he was targeted 34 times. It's what you would expect for a No. 1 receiver. But the Eagles passing game has struggled and the numbers could be much better. Jeffery was held to two catches for 38 yards last week.

Jeffery will face the Bills who are seventh in aFPA to wide receivers. It's hard to say when the Eagles passing game will get back to where many thought it would be. But with a tough matchup in Week 8, Jeffery only ranks as a WR3 in all leagues and formats. Don't expect much until we see Philly's passing game start to show signs of waking up.

PHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Dallas
Alshon Jeffery had a season-high 10 catches last week but only for 76 yards. That's not surprising considering Jeffrey's history. He added a touchdown to add to a good fantasy day, especially in PPR leagues.

Jeffery will face the Cowboys who are 18th in aFPA to wide receivers. Last year in two games against Dallas, he had 10 receptions for 98 yards and a touchdown. We expect similar numbers in Week 7.

Start Jeffery as a low-end WR2 in all leagues and formats. The Eagles will probably try to control the ball with the running game and short passes and keep the 'Boys offense off the field.
