LV RB Ameer Abdullah - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Ameer Abdullah had every opportunity to take control of this backfield and hasn't been up to the task. He was even with Sincere McCormick in touches last week and was outproduced on 12 touches.

He's in the flex conversation with a half-dozen teams on bye but his tenous grasp on the backfield seems to be loosening.

Week 13 at Kansas City Chiefs

Ameer Abdullah is in the flex conversation this week at RB36. It's hard to get excited about a guy that has only had double-digit touches once this whole season, but he did show some signs of life in Week 12.

Abdullah didn't do much on the ground, but a half dozen targets and a score through the air made his day. If he can get involved in the passing game, Abdullah could be useful down the stretch.

Ameer Abdullah is at the top of the list for the Raiders RB Carousel. He had four touches last week but as the lead back this week, we have him projected at RB31.

That puts him in the flex conversation, but expectations have to be low given the likely game script the Raiders will face.

Ameer Abdullah comes in on the fringe of fantasy relevance this week. As RB37, we'd hope you have better options on your roster.

He only managed 38 yards on nine opportunities in their game against Pittsburgh last week and has just 23 total opportunities on the year.

Week 15 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Ameer Abdullah plays a supplemental role in this offense, but he could see an uptick in usage with Josh Jacobs expected to miss time with a knee injury. The Chargers rank 20th in aFPA to opposing running backs, so it’s a nice matchup for the veteran complementary back. Still, this offense hasn’t looked great at all this year, and Zamir White is likely to get the bulk of the rushing carries, so look elsewhere.
