IND QB Andrew Luck - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Miami Dolphins

The Colts come off another strong offensive performance against the Titans, and this week, Indianapolis has the highest implied team total on the Sunday slate, nearing 30 expected points. Miami ranks just 18th in aFPA to QBs this season as well. Andrew Luck has at least three touchdown passes in seven consecutive games and has not been sacked in five straight. In fact, he's only been touched three times in his past five games. He will have a different center this week, but he's locked and loaded as an elite fantasy option once again in Week 12.

Week 11 vs. Tennesee Titans

The Colts have a high implied team total of 25 at home against Tennessee, and maybe the best offensive line in the NFL right now, helping protect Andrew Luck enough for him to throw three or more touchdowns in six consecutive games. The Titans are top 10 in aFPA to QBs this season, but having lit up similarly ranked defenses of late, we have little concern Luck will continue to post solid fantasy numbers in Week 11. It hasn't just been the touchdowns either. Luck is averaging 275 passing yards per game, thanks to high volume in attempts. Keep starting him.

IND QB Andrew Luck - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Colts have a middle-of-the-road implied team total against the Jaguars this week, and Jacksonville ranks 7th in aFPA to QBs. But Andrew Luck's passing volume has been undeniable, averaging more than 40 attempts per game. Luck hasn't faced Jacksonville since 2016, but he's red hot right now, with three or more touchdowns in five straight games. Given that and Jacksonville's recent defensive struggles, Luck is a QB1 this week.

Andrew Luck is straight ballin'. Fifteen touchdowns in his last four games. Filthy good. Now, he faces an Oakland defense near the bottom of the league in aFPA to QBs. Plus, no quarterback in the league is throwing more passes than Andrew Luck this season. Enjoy the fantasy goodness in Week 8.

IND QB Andrew Luck - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Buffalo Bills

Nobody is throwing more passes this season than Andrew Luck, 22 more attempts than the next closest quarterback, Joe Flacco. That volume has led to fantasy success. Luck's match-up this week is against a surprisingly good Bills passing defense, ranked second in aFPA to QBs. The Colts do have an above average implied team total though of 25.25 points. Luck should still be reliable for low-end QB1 numbers based on his expected volume. He just won't have as much negative game script to air it out as much in the second half.

IND QB Andrew Luck - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at New York Jets

Andrew Luck will once again be playing with a depleted supporting cast in the Meadowlands Sunday. T.Y. Hilton and Jack Doyle still are not practicing, and now Eric Ebron is also not practicing with four different injuries. Luck is still a borderline QB1 though based on shear volume, as he's thrown more than 50 passes in three of five games this season with an increasing average depth of target. He carries risk though without those weapons available.

IND QB Andrew Luck - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at New England Patriots (TNF)

Andrew Luck and the Colts offense travels to Foxboro with their top pass-catcher, T.Y. Hilton, doubtful with a hamstring injury. Plus, the Patriots are already not an easy matchup, ranking top half in the league in aFPA to QBs. Vegas doesn't give this offense much hope Thursday night either, with the fourth-lowest implied team total of Week 5 at 20.5 points. Luck's inconsistent fantasy play this season leads us to look for streamer options before starting him on Thursday night.
