Fantasy Impact: 

If this turns out to be true, it's huge news for those owners who rolled the dice on Foster in the 4th or 5th round when it looked like he was going to miss the month of September.

Texans RB Arian Foster (groin) missed practice again Thursday. Foster’s timetable is all over the place. First, it was very negative. Then, there were rumors that he’d be back at the end of September. He says that he’s “ahead of schedule” but did not put a timetable on his potential availability. He was seen “moving quickly and decisively” on the sideline Thursday morning. Alfred Blue and Chris Polk should share the touches against Kansas City this week.

Texans RB Arian Foster ran well on a side field today, is moving quickly and decisively.

Fantasy Impact: 

This sounds promising. Foster's recovery timeline has been all over the place since his injury, but now it sounds like he'll be back sooner rather than later. We're expecting him to play 11 games this year. Time will tell if that was too optimistic (or pessimistic).

The latest (from Adam Schefter, no less) is that “Foster could return in four weeks but could be out six or more weeks. Team unsure.” Thanks for that, Adam. Very helpful.
