JAX QB Blake Bortles - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Blake Bortles Week 16 vs. Titans
Blake Bortles is out of his walking boot but is still dealing with a mid-foot sprain. He had 210 yards and an interception last week against Baltimore and was pretty beaten up in the game. His best game as a pro - 336 yards and a TD - came against the Titans this season, so there's some hope. But let's be honest, are you really starting a rookie with everything at stake this week?

JAX QB Blake Bortles - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Blake Bortles Week 15 vs. Ravens
Blake Bortles had 205 yards passing and a touchdown last week, also throwing another interception. He's got 10 TD passes and 16 interceptions. Baltimore's pass defense is shoddy, but the Ravens' pass rush could cause problems for the rookie, especially without the threat of a running game.

JAX QB Blake Bortles - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Blake Bortles Week 14 vs. Texans
Blake Bortles had his first turnover-free game in his rookie season, throwing for 194 yards and a score last week. He's a little banged up this week with shoulder and ankle injuries but should be good to go. Houston's pass defense isn't great, but the Texans do have a league-best 29 forced turnovers. This will be a tough one on the road for the Jags and Bortles.

JAX QB Blake Bortles - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Blake Bortles Week 13 vs. Giants
Perhaps Blake Bortles has hit the rookie wall. He threw for just 146 yards last week and went without a TD pass for the second consecutive week. The Giants allowed four touchdown passes to Dallas last week, their second four-touchdown game in the past four, but Bortles doesn't have that kind of juice right now.

JAX QB Blake Bortles - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Blake Bortles Week 12 vs. Colts
Coming off his bye week, Blake Bortles will have had another week of learning from his past mistakes, this time without watching some fresh ones. He's thrown multiple interceptions in five of the eight games in which he's played, including two in relief against Indianapolis back in Week 3. Indianapolis' pass defense has been shoddy the past three games, allowing more than 1,100 yards and 10 TD passes and Bortles should put up some yards, but he remains a desperation play.

JAX QB Blake Bortles - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Blake Bortles Week 10 vs. Cowboys
Bortles had perhaps his best game of his young career last week, throwing for 247 yards and a pair of touchdowns with just one interception. He did, however, suffer an injury to his left wrist. He's expected to be fine to play this week but faces a tough matchup against the Cowboys, who have allowed more than 250 yards passing in just three games this season.

JAX QB Blake Bortles - Week 9, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Blake Bortles Week 9 vs. Bengals
Blake Bortles threw for 221 yards and a touchdown last week, but continued his troubling trend of turning the ball over, adding two more interceptions and a fumble. If your league penalizes you for the turnovers, Bortles might not be a real good choice for you, even as a bye week fill-in. But he's averaging a touchdown per game per start. It's not great, but it's OK. That said, he faces a tough matchup in Cincinnati this week. The Bengals have given up just eight passing TDs all season and just three of those have come in four home games.
