TB TE Cade Otton - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Green Bay Packers

Cade Otton saw five targets last week, finishing with two catches for 16 yards, one of which was the game-winning touchdown. It's just the third time in a game this season Otton has found the end zone. Otton hasn't been great this year, finishing below 20 receiving yards in seven of his 13 games. If you're starting him, you're pretty much just hoping he somehow finds the end zone. He'll be a desperation play in Week 15 vs. the Packers (19th aFPA).

Week 14 at Atlanta Falcons

Cade Otton played on 98% of the offensive snaps last week, but didn't see a single target. Otton hasn't been great this season, averaging just 29.0 yards per game. He's finished below 20 receiving yards in half of his games, and has only scored a touchdown in two games this season. Otton isn't much more than a desperation play in Week 14 vs. the Falcons (18th aFPA).

Week 13 vs. Carolina Panthers

Cade Otton had a decent outing last week, finishing 4-45 on four targets. Otton has been OK this season, averaging 3.5 receptions for 31.6 yards with touchdowns in two games. He's not an elite option at the TE position, but he's usually at least good for something, which can be helpful if you need someone during a bye week. Otton is in the TE10-TE15 range for Week 13 against the Panthers (7th aFPA).

Week 12 at Indianapolis Colts

Cade Otton was OK last week, finishing 4-49 on five targets. Otton has had a few breakout games this season, but overall he hasn't done much. He's finished below 20 receiving yards in five of his 10 games so far. He gets a favorable matchup against the Colts (29th aFPA) this week, but he's not much more than a desperation play at TE.

Week 11 at San Francisco 49ers

After a huge Week 9 performance, Cade Otton came back down to Earth with a modest 2-10 game in Week 10. Otton hasn't been that great this year, finishing below 20 receiving yards in five of his nine games so far this season. This week he draws a tough matchup against the 49ers (4th aFPA). He's not much more than a desperation play in Week 11.

Week 10 vs. Tennessee Titans

Cade Otton came out of nowhere to have his most productive game of the season last week. Otton saw nine targets, and finished with a stat line of 6-70-2. This is only the second time in a game this season Otton has scored a touchdown, and the first time he's finished above 50 receiving yards. We'll see if Otton can keep the momentum going, although it's going to be tough this week as he faces a brutal matchup against the Titans (1st aFPA). Tennessee has given up the 4th-fewest receptions and 7th-fewest receiving yards to tight ends this season. They also haven't given up a TD to the position all season. Otton is just outside the top 15 tight ends for Week 10.

Week 9 at Houston Texans

Cade Otton had an OK outing last week, finishing with four receptions for 27 yards on six targets. He also caught a two point conversion. Otton has now seen six targets in back-to-back games. Although he's been held under 50 receiving yards every week this year. Even with a few teams on bye in Week 9, Otton remains nothing more than a desperation play at tight end. He's outside the top 20 options at the position this week.
