The Steelers ruled out WR George Pickens and QB Justin Fields for Saturday vs. Baltimore.

OLB T.J. Watt (ankle) is off the injury report and will play.

Fantasy Impact:

We really can't trust any of these ancillary pieces with Pickens missing, and it comes as a huge downgrade to Russell Wilson and the offense, in general.

Steelers WR George Pickens was listed as did not practice today, TJ Watt was listed as limited.

Fantasy Impact:

We really can't be trusting any of these ancillary pieces of Pickens misses, and it would come as a huge downgrade to Russell Wilson and the offense, in general. This is a decent matchup for Pickens, so we'll keep an eye on whether or not he can clear ahead of kickoff.

Steelers ruled out wide receiver George Pickens for Sunday’s game against the Eagles due to his hamstring injury.

Fantasy Impact:

We really can't trust any of the Pittsburgh WR options here in the first round of the playoffs, particularly against the Eagles' defense. Russell Wilson can also comfortably be faded in all formats.

Jets trade WR Mike Williams to Steelers

According to multiple reports, they have acquired Mike Williams in a deal with the Jets. They will send a 2025 fifth-round pick to the AFC East club.

Fantasy Impact:

Williams tore his ACL while playing for the Chargers in 2023 and signed a one-year deal with the Jets this offseason. He had 12 catches for 166 yards in the first nine weeks of the season, but his most notable moment with the team came when quarterback Aaron Rodgers said Williams ran the wrong route on a pass that was intercepted to seal a loss to the Bills in Week 6, the story went on to say. It remains to be seen what Williams can be with the Steelers at this point. If all goes right, Williams' upside could be a WR2 role once he's up to speed, but even then he's likely a third option behind Pickens and Freiermuth.
