The Jacksonville Jaguars have released RB Carlos Hyde.

Fantasy Impact:

Travis Etienne and James Robinson will occupy most if not all Jags carries in 2022. Also, Hyde is not very good.

Week 2 vs. Denver Broncos
Carlos Hyde surprisingly received more carries than James Robinson in Week 1, but he showed very little in the passing game and was not efficient on the ground in an offense that struggled to do anything against a poor Houston defense. Now the Jags will host the Broncos, who boast a defense immensely more talented than what the Texans offered last week. Hyde's primary fantasy relevance is as a thorn in the side of James Robinson drafters rather than as a standalone fantasy starter. Keep Hyde on benches in Week 2 in a tough matchup.
