DAL WR CeeDee Lamb - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Minnesota Vikings
CeeDee Lamb is still seeing a healthy dose of targets from the Cowboys' backup quarterback carousel, but his yardage totals have taken a significant hit, and he's only reached the endzone three times in nine games. Still, Lamb's consistent volume has given him a somewhat stable floor in PPR formats, and the return of Andy Dalton should provide at least a small boost to a reeling offense. Lamb will get a good matchup against the Vikings beatable secondary this week and can be started as a solid flex play, particularly in PPR leagues.

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Philadelphia Eagles
CeeDee Lamb's rookie year got off to a hot start but his fantasy value has taken a hit in the wake of Dak Prescott's season-ending injury. Lamb is still relevant in fantasy, but he cannot be counted on for the same efficiency or volume playing with Andy Dalton or Ben DiNucci under center. The Cowboys are in a tough spot this week facing off with the Eagles solid defense while their offensive line crumbles and DiNucci looks set to make his first NFL start. Lamb should continue to see decent usage working in the slot for Dallas, but his floor and ceiling have been lowered significantly in recent weeks. Lamb's role in the offense keeps him worthy of flex status, but he carries plenty of risk in Week 8.

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Washington Football Team
CeeDee Lamb actually led all Dallas wide receivers in targets from Andy Dalton in Week 6 with 11. Lamb caught seven of those targets for a total of 64 yards. Such stat lines could become commonplace for Lamb as his new starting quarterback struggles to throw the ball downfield and will be dealing with frequent pressure given the state of the Cowboys' offensive line. Even so, Lamb has already been heavily integrated into the offense as a rookie and Dalton was looking his way often Monday night as Dallas struggled to keep pace with Arizona. Lamb should continue to be a solid WR2, especially in PPR leagues, just based on talent and the volume he should get in the slot with Dallas's defense giving up a historical amount of points to opposing offenses.

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Arizona Cardinals
CeeDee Lamb quickly ascended to Dak Prescott's second option in the Dallas passing game, but now has had a wrench thrown into his rookie season with Prescott going down for the season in Week 5. Lamb may be saved to some extent by favorable matchups in the slot where he is frequently deployed, and new starting quarterback Andy Dalton showed strong rapport with Bengals slot receiver Tyler Boyd last season. There is uncertainty surrounding every player on the Dallas offense in the wake of Prescott's injury, but Lamb's role should be secure with what he has shown through his first five NFL games. He secured a season-high 11 targets last week and eclipsed 100 yards receiving for the second time in his young career. Lamb is a WR2, even with Dalton under center.

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. New York Giants
CeeDee Lamb had the best game of his young career in Week 4 by hauling in five of seven targets for 79 yards and two touchdowns. Lamb's production will be volatile simply due to how many of his teammates have a role in the passing game, but Lamb has carved out a nice rapport with Dak Prescott through four games. In Week 5 he will take on a Giants secondary that is mediocre at best, meaning Lamb sets up nicely for another solid fantasy performance. The Giants especially strugge to contain slot receivers, an area where Lamb thrives. Just last week Cooper Kupp posted 69 yards and a touchdown as the Rams' primary slot receiver. Start Lamb in your flex spot as a high-upside option in Week 5.

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Cleveland Browns
CeeDee Lamb's position as primary slot receiver for the Cowboys set up nicely this week against a Browns defense that has struggled mightily to defend the slot through three games. The Browns rank 29th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to wide receivers and Lamb has seen no fewer than six targets in any game this season. The crowded nature of the Dallas offense means Lamb and teammate Michael Gallup will have stretches of inconsistency, but they will also post breakout games catching passes from Dak Prescott in a talented offense. The favorable matchup and offensive environment mean Lamb can be started as a WR3 in Week 4 against Cleveland.

DAL WR CeeDee Lamb - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Seattle Seahawks
CeeDee Lamb's success in college has translated to the pros as he has totaled 11 catches for 165 yards in his first two NFL games. Lamb operates primarily in the slot and the Seahawks lost their starting nickel cornerback, Marquise Blair, to a torn ACL last week. The unproven Ugo Amadi will slide into Blair's spot, meaning Lamb gets a plus matchup in a game projected to be one of the highest scoring of the entire slate. There is always some volume risk for Lamb with the plethora of skill players Dak Prescott has at his disposal, but it appears as though Lamb has already played himself ahead of Michael Gallup in the pecking order for targets in Dallas. Start Lamb as a high-end WR3 in this one knowing he could easily finish with WR2 numbers.
