Cardinals RB David Johnson (back) did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. If Johnson can't play, Chase Edmonds would get a big bump into fantasy RB2 territory. Last week, he turned a season-high 11 touches into a season-high 86 yards and a touchdown. He's averaging 6.7 yards per carry and has handled every non-DJ touch in the Arizona backfield. Even if Johnson is active, there's no guarantee that he handles his usual amount of touches in what should be a high-scoring game against the Falcons.

Kingsbury said RB David Johnson (wrist) is fine to play Sunday against the Panthers.

Fantasy Impact:

As we reported Sunday, Johnson left the game with what was called a wrist injury and it didn't look good at the time. But Johnson eventually returned to the game and scored a TD. Although he didn't do a whole lot else in terms of fantasy production, Johnson did proclaim he was fine which turned out to be true. The Cardinals host the 0-2 Panthers in Week 3.

David Johnson is back from a wrist injury for the Cardinals.

Fantasy Impact:

It didn't look good for a while as Johnson left the game with his left arm appearing to just hang. It was later ruled to be a left wrist injury, which reports said was the same injury that kept him out in 2017. But Johnson was able to return. It may be a good time for owners to get Edmonds.

Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds (back, questionable) was limited Friday after taking full reps earlier in the week and is questionable for Week 6. If Edmonds is out, David Johnson should see a monster workload in Week 6.
