Fantasy Upside
Cory Harkey carved out a role as an H-back in the Rams' two-TE formations. He caught two touchdowns a year ago and the team likes to throw to him in the flats. It's assumed that he would take over the role currently held by Lance Kendricks if the latter were to get injured.
Fantasy Downside
Harkey caught just 13 passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns a year ago and it's highly unlikely that he improves upon even those paltry numbers. His role is limited in Brian Schottenheimer's offense.
Bottom Line
Harkey isn't on the fantasy radar and should be avoided in your drafts. In fact, he could lose what little playing time he has if Alex Bayer continues to turn heads in preseason.
