DEN WR Courtland Sutton - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs Football Team

This will be the first week that Jerry Jeudy is eligible to play. In Week 1 when Jeudy was active, Sutton only saw three targets coincidentally his lowest targets total all year. We don't know if Sutton and Jeudy can co-exist but we can take advantage of this Football Teams weak point which is its pass defense. The good news is that Sutton is currently second in the NFL in air yards per game at 135.1 yards a game.

DEN WR Courtland Sutton - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Browns

Courtland Sutton continues his hot play. After turning in back-to-back weeks of 11 or more targets with 90 or more yards, Sutton takes on a Clevland Browns defense that is getting torched by the opposing team WR1s. Currently giving up the second to most yards (101.0) to the opposing team's WR1, Sutton is in line for another boom game, so fire him up and don't look back.

DEN WR Courtland Sutton - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs Raiders

Welcome back to the NFL season Courtland Sutton. After posting 84 yards in the past two weeks combined, Sutton exploded for 120 yards and earned 11 targets, both team leaders. This week presents a tougher matchup according to our adjusted fantasy points allowed, but I wouldn't bench Sutton's talent, he has the ability to win you weeks.

DEN WR Courtland Sutton - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Steelers

Courtland Sutton has had an up and down season as he tries to come back from his torn ACL in 2020. Outside of a Week 2 blowup where he saw 159 yards, he's only managed to have one other game where he's had more than 40 receiving yards. The good news is that the Pittsburgh Steelers while having an elite run defense can be passed on. According to Football Outsiders, the Steelers are a bottom 10 unit when it comes to defending the WR1, allowing 75 yards a game and eight catches per game. If the Broncos are going to win this game, Sutton needs to be involved from the jump.

DEN WR Courtland Sutton - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs Ravens

Courtland Sutton goes up against a Baltimore Ravens defense that has been stifling opposing passing offenses. They currently rank in the top 10 in points allowed to wide receivers, the good news for Sutton is he may have more on his plate after the latest injury news to K.J. Hamler. Sutton leads the team in air yards market share (38%) while also holding an elite target share (24%). We should be chasing Sutton in this Denver Broncos passing offense, but bring your expectations down a notch this week against the stifling Ravens defense.

DEN WR Courtland Sutton - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Jets

Welcome to the season, Courtland Sutton. In Week 2, Sutton had 14 targets, 159 yards, 258 AirYards, and 67% market share AirYards (elite number). This week he faces a New York Jets team that is ranked as the 18th best defense when we take a look at fantasy points adjusted tool. Sutton will look to build on a strong week 2.

DEN WR Courtland Sutton - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Jaguars

Courtland Sutton didn't have the usual game we're accustomed to seeing from him last week against the New York Giants. He saw three targets, which tied with Melvin Gordon for fourth-most on the team. He also only gave us 51 AirYards, maybe he's getting his legs under him but he deserves another week in your starting lineups after the Jaguars got cooked by Brandin Cooks last week.
