Week 11 at Minnesota Vikings
With Joe Flacco on I.R., Brandon Allen or rookie Drew Lock will be the Broncos QB for the rest of the season. Even with Emmanuel Sanders no longer on the Denver roster DaeSean Hamilton has seen just one look in two games in his absence. Hamilton should only be on your roster in deep keeper leagues.

Week 9 vs. Cleveland Browns
Getting his first career start last week against the Colts, DaeSean Hamilton saw only one pass go in his direction. With the trade of Emmanuel Sanders, it was anticipated Hamilton would become a larger part of the Broncos passing game. Now that QB Brandon Allen will be seeing his first regular-season action on Sunday, it’s better off you look elsewhere for a starting WR.

Week 8 at Indianapolis Colts
With Emmanuel Sanders now part of the 49ers, DaeSean Hamilton will take over his starting WR position. In limited playing time this season, the second-year player has 11 receptions for 106 yards and no TDs. Against the Chiefs last Thursday, he registered two catches for four yards. The Colts are allowing 250 yards through the air, so, now that he’s a starter, Hamilton could be used as a WR3/flex play if you're low on other options.

Week 2 vs. Chicago Bears
On Monday night against the Raiders, DaeSean Hamilton finished with just two catches for five yards and dropped what would’ve been a TD in the third quarter. The Joe Flacco pass was a bit behind Hamilton, but it was one the second-year player should’ve held on to. Hamilton will remain the No. 3 receiver, which means Courtland Sutton and Emmanuel Sanders will continue to see most of the WR targets. Against a solid Bears defense, it’s advised to leave Hamilton on the bench.

Week 1 at Oakland Raiders
Filling in for Emmanuel Sanders during the final month last season, DaeSean Hamilton caught 25 passes for 182 yards and two TDs. Starting this season, he’ll be the third WR option in the Broncos passing attack, behind Emmanuel Sanders and Courtland Sutton. Even with Joe Flacco at the helm for Denver, Hamilton doesn’t make for a good fantasy start on Monday night.

Fantasy Upside
With Demaryius Thomas no longer on the roster and Emmanuel Sanders out over the final month of his rookie season, DaeSean Hamilton posted 25 grabs for 182 yards and two TDs. During that four-game span, Courtland Sutton had to go against opponents’ top DBs as the No. 1 WR, so Hamilton thrived, being targeted 38 times in December. He has excellent speed, with the ability to turn a short pass into big gains.

Fantasy Downside
Heading into the regular season, Hamilton will be the Broncos No. 3/slot WR, which may limit his playing time and targets. Despite his quickness, he averaged just 8.1 yards per reception in ’18.

Bottom Line
Even with the expected upgrade at QB in Joe Flacco, don’t expect a big season from Hamilton, especially if Sanders is able to make it through the entire season. He showed promise as an underneath receiver, running precise routes, but look for him to finish with around 500 yards for the season.

Week 17 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

With Case Keenum throwing 37 passes last Monday in the loss at Oakland, DaeSean Hamilton received nine looks, resulting in six catches for 40 yards and a TD – the second time in the past three weeks he’s found the end zone. Hamilton continues to see a healthy amount of looks from Keenum, but he had just a four-yard grab versus the Chargers in November. He should be considered no more than a WR3/flex play in the rematch.
