Scouting report

PHI TE Dallas Goedert - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at New York Giants
With Zach Ertz banged up, expect to see a replication of last week as Dallas Goedert was the primary target in the Eagles passing game. He ended up with nine catches for 91 yards and a touchdown.

Goedert will face the Giants who are 28th in aFPA to tight ends. Expect a big day for the Philly passing game and Goedert will be a key target for QB Carson Wentz. Start Goedert as a solid TE1 for Week 17 in New York.

PHI TE Dallas Goedert - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs Dallas
Dallas Goedert had five receptions for 55 yards last week and he continues to up solid TE1-type numbers despite playing behind Zach Ertz. Although you won't get huge numbers each week, you will get consistent numbers and that's why Goedert has value

Goedert faces the Cowboys this week who are ranked 23rd in aFPA to tight ends. He had a pretty good game the first time against Dallas with four catches for 69 yards. Even though he has a favorable matchup, we only rate him a high-end TE2 for Week 16 so probably keep him on the bench.

PHI TE Dallas Goedert - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs Washington
Dallas Goedert should be even more involved with the Eagles passing game as the top three Philly receivers are out. Goedert has 16 catches over the last three games so he has been a fantasy asset even though he is behind Zach Ertz on the depth chart.

The Redskins are the next opponent and have not been good against tight ends. They are ranked 29th in aFPA to the position. This means a good day for the Eagles tight ends,

Start Goedert as a low-end TE1 for Week 15 and expect both Philly tight ends to have big games.

PHI TE Dallas Goedert - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs New York Giants
Dallas Goedert continues to put up very good numbers as the Eagles backup tight end. He had six catches for 66 yards last week. He is capable of big games, especially when opposing defenses are paying more attention to Zach Ertz.

Even with a tough matchup against the Giants who are ranked 6th in aFPA to tight ends, Goedert continues to perform as a TE1 and that's where he ranks this week. Start him in standard and PPR leagues for Week 14.

PHI TE Dallas Goedert - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Miami
Dallas Goedert caught seven passes last week, which was a season-high, but ended up with only 32 yards. He continues to get on the field with Zach Ertz in plenty of two-tight end sets.

Goedert faces Miami who is ranked 15th in aFPA to tight ends. Philly's receivers have been hurting so they rely even more on the Goedert and Ertz.

Goedert ranks a TE1 for Week 13 so start him in all leagues and formats.

PHI TE Dallas Goedert - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Seattle
Dallas Goedert's numbers have been okay over the past couple weeks although we might have expected better considering the Eagles are struggling to put healthy bodies on the offensive side of the ball. We expect him to be a bigger part of the game plan in Week 12.

Seattle is up next and the Seahawks are 24th in aFPA to tight ends. Goedert should get more targets and that will create higher fantasy production. Start him as a TE1 in all leagues and formats.

PHI TE Dallas Goedert - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs New England
Dallas Goedert continues to get snaps and targets as the backup tight end and the Eagles are back to more two-tight end sets like we saw last season. Yes, Zach Ertz is still the No. 1 tight end, but Goedert is capable of putting up big numbers on any given day,

It's a tough matchup this week against the Patriots who are sixth in aFPA to tight ends, But we think Goedert will put up enough numbers to be considered a low-end TE1 in standard leagues, but stay away from him in PPR leagues.
