HOU WR Damaris Johnson - Week 17, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 – Damaris Johnson vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Case Keenum threw 25 combined passes to DeAndre Hopkins and Andre Johnson versus the Ravens last Sunday. Damaris Johnson had six targets, leading to four receptions for 27 yards. He has 28 grabs and one TD in ’14. Damaris recorded 23 yards on two touches in the win against the Jags earlier this month, but should not be started in the rematch.

HOU WR Damaris Johnson - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 – Damaris Johnson vs. Baltimore Ravens
Damaris Johnson had just two receptions for 21 yards in the loss to the Colts last week - and that was without Andre Johnson in the lineup. Damaris has 24 catches and a lone TD this season. With Case Keenum at QB, there is absolutely no reason for Johnson to be started.

HOU WR Damaris Johnson - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 – Damaris Johnson vs. Indianapolis Colts
With Ryan Fitzpatrick only throwing the ball 19 times last week in the victory over the Jaguars, Damaris Johnson finished with just an 11 yard reception. No way should he be started at Indianapolis on Sunday, even with Andre Johnson possibly out (concussion).

HOU WR Damaris Johnson - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 – Damaris Johnson vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
With Ryan Fitzpatrick throwing for 358 yards in the victory over Tennessee last week, Damaris Johnson saw only one target. He did have a rushing attempt, but it lost seven yards. Johnson should not be in your starting lineup.

HOU WR Damaris Johnson - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 – Damaris Johnson vs. Tennessee Titans
In the loss to the Bengals last Sunday, Damaris Johnson collected three receptions for 21 yards. Damaris registered 33 yards in the victory over the Titans in October, but the Houston passing offense, now back to Ryan Fitzpatrick, just hasn’t been doing enough for you to even have Johnson taking up a roster spot.

HOU WR Damaris Johnson - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 – Damaris Johnson vs. Cincinnati Bengals
In the win over the Browns last Sunday, Damaris Johnson finished with a season-high five receptions, but for only 21 yards. His longest catch went for just eight yards. While it was a good sign that new QB Ryan Mallett came his way eight times, DeAndre Hopkins and Andre Johnson combined for 11 of his completions. The Texans ran 84 plays and controlled the clock, with Alfred Blue leading the ground attack. Even if Arian Foster returns this week, expect Mallett to throw the ball more often than Ryan Fitzpatrick did over the first nine contests. However, Damaris is at best the third option at WR, so he’s not worth starting.

HOU WR Damaris Johnson - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 – Damaris Johnson vs. Cleveland Browns
In the loss to Philly two weeks ago, Damaris Johnson tallied just two receptions for 16 yards. Ryan Fitzpatrick completed only 13 passes in that contest, with DeAndre Hopkins registering six grabs. Damaris has 13 catches and one TD on the season. Even if new QB Ryan Mallett throws more often than Fitzpatrick, Johnson should not be started.
