CHI RB Darrynton Evans - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at New Orleans Saints

Despite Roschon Johnson returning to the lineup, Darrynton Evans still maintained a solid role last week. He ran four times for 18 yards while scoring a touchdown and also caught three passes for 20 yards on four targets. Evans played the fewest offensive snaps of the Bears' three backs, but overall the playing time was pretty evenly split. Still, Evans is a risky option as he's the clear No. 3 in this backfield for the time being. We'd rather have D'Onta Foreman or Johnson in Week 9. Evans is nothing more than a desperation play in Week 9.

CHI RB Darrynton Evans - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Darrynton Evans ran three times for 21 yards in Week 13 with a longest run of ... 21 yards. He also didn't see a single target. Evans has seen an increase in playing time due to Khalil Herbert's injury, but not enough to make him relevant in fantasy. He can be avoided in Week 15.

CHI RB Darrynton Evans - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Green Bay Packers

Darrynton Evans made his first game appearance last week, and he had a solid role. The former 3rd-round draft pick ran nine times for 34 yards while catching one pass for 33 yards. He surprisingly played on 32% of the offensive snaps after seeing just two total offensive snaps all season. Evans' involvement is interesting, but he likely won't see enough touches to make him a big enough factor in fantasy. He's not much more than a desperation flex play in Week 13.
