CLE TE David Njoku - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Los Angeles Chargers

David Njoku is starting to get more involved in the offense, but his 4 receptions for 47 yards last week isn't exciting many people. The Browns continue to get Njoku and Seth DeValve involved, canceling each other out for fantasy purposes. Njoku is a very low-end TE2 this week in a difficult matchup against the Chargers.

CLE TE David Njoku - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Cincinnati Bengals

David Njoku has made some plays this season, but has been mostly ineffective. He's not a reliable option in fantasy.

CLE TE David Njoku - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

David Njoku is getting more involved in the offense as he played a season-high 46 offensive snaps (56.8%) last week. He was also targeted a healthy 6 times, but he only came away with 1 reception for 3 yards.

Njoku is a talented player, and it's encouraging he's playing more snaps, but until he puts up consistent production he's a risky option in fantasy. He's not worth looking at this week against Jacksonville.

CLE TE David Njoku - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Detroit Lions

David Njoku has caught 2 passes in six of his eight games this season and has 3 receptions in each of the other two. In other words, he's not a very big factor in the Browns' passing game. He does have 3 scores this season, but it's impossible to predict when he'll score. He and fellow Browns tight end Seth DeValve together have had a good season, but individually they're hard to trust as a reliable option.

CLE TE David Njoku - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Vikings (game in London)

David Njoku had a healthy 5 targets last week, but only caught 2 passes. He finished with 58 yards, highlighted by a 31-yard grab. Njoku is a talented player, but in this offense, he's unreliable as a fantasy option. On top of that, he gets a tough matchup this week. He's a risky play at best.

CLE TE David Njoku - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Tennessee Titans

David Njoku finished with a healthy 5 targets last week, but he finished with 0 yards on 2 catches. He has 3 touchdowns on the season, but he's averaging less than 20 yards per game. He's simply not reliable enough to be taken seriously in fantasy.

CLE TE David Njoku - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Houston Texans

David Njoku is slowly starting to come along as he had his best game of the season last week. He finished with 3 receptions for 48 yards, but most importantly, he found the end zone again. He's now scored in three of his last four games and is emerging as a solid red zone threat.

The problem with Njoku is he hasn't had much production outside of scoring touchdowns. Sure he scores often, but if he doesn't, then he could end up hurting your team. In a not-so-favorable matchup this week, Njoku is nothing more than a TE2 play.
