Scouting report

CLE TE David Njoku - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Kansas City Chiefs
David Njoku picked up a hamstring injury in Week 14, which has kept him on the injury report and has a chance to limit him from his recent incredible target share in Week 15. Our trepidation about his injury, mixed with his wild 30 targets over the last two weeks, combine to make him a risky high-end TE2 option against a Chiefs defense ranking a moderate 17th in TE aFPA.

CLE TE David Njoku - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 @ Pittsburgh Steelers
No one has benefitted from Deshaun Watson getting off of a football field over the last two years more than David Njoku, even if we factor in the 1-9-0 clunker on five targets in Week 12. The Steelers are 14th in TE aFPA on the season, but we should expect the Browns and Jameis Winston to be playing from behind for much of this game, which gives Njoku a good enough floor to be considered as a locked-in TE1 option in Week 14.

CLE TE David Njoku - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 @ Denver Broncos
No one has benefitted from Deshaun Watson getting off of a football field over the last two years more than David Njoku, even if we factor in the 1-9-0 clunker on five targets in Week 12. The Broncos are 3rd in TE aFPA on the season, but we should expect the Browns and Jameis Winston to be playing from behind for much of this game, which gives Njoku a good enough floor to be considered as a back-end TE1 option in Week 13.

CLE TE David Njoku - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
No one has benefitted from Deshaun Watson getting off of a football field over the last two years more than David Njoku. In this latest three-game sample, Njoku has scored 13.3 half-PPR points per game, the fifth-highest mark at the position. The Steelers are a middle-of-the-road matchup against TEs, which makes Njoku a top-7 option.

CLE TE David Njoku - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Though David Njoku found himself on the injury report leading up to Week 9, he remains a great play (if he suits up) after accruing 33.2 fantasy points in the first two game of the post-Deshaun Watson/Amari Cooper era in Cleveland. Lock him in as a top-7 option.

CLE TE David Njoku - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Baltimore Ravens
At least until (or if) Nick Chubb gets up to full speed, it's hard to argue against David Njoku being the best player on the Browns offense. He should continue to be force-fed the ball, making him a locked-in top-6 option in a great matchup.
