Scouting report

LAR WR Demarcus Robinson - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs Buffalo Bills

Demarcus Robinson is outside of the top 50 wide receivers this week. He's a touchdown or bust desperation flex option, but you likely have better options elsewhere.

LAR WR Demarcus Robinson - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Demarcus Robinson is right outside the top 50 wide receivers this week and a combination of a tough matchup and concentrated target tree between Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp makes this a pass.

LAR WR Demarcus Robinson - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at New England Patriots

Demarcus Robinson is outside of the top-50 wide receivers this week, but in a pinch could be a decent fill-in flex option if you are hit badly by the bye week. He isn't much more than a flex option and hope the touchdowns head his way again.

LAR WR Demarcus Robinson - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Miami Dolphins

Demarcus Robinson stepped in for Puka Nacua after he was ejected and had 6 catches for 94 yards and 2 touchdowns. It was a surprisingly great start from Robinson, especially since we didn't even see that type of fantasy output without Cooper Kupp and Nacua.

The Dolphins are 7th in aFPA against wide receivers, so this is a significantly more difficult matchup for the Rams' passing game this week. Robinson is a desperation flex play this week and you likely have better options this week.

LAR WR Demarcus Robinson - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs Green Bay Packers

When Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp went down injured, the prevailing thought was that Demarcus Robinson would likely be the WR1 for the Rams moving forward. Unfortunately, that hasn't played out for those who spent FAAB on him. He's been the clear WR3 in the pecking order behind Tutu Atwell and now Jordan Whittington.

While Robinson doesn't have as much appeal as two weeks ago, he's still serviceable as a WR4/flex play if you're missing multiple receivers to a bye this week. Green Bay is 29th aFPA against wide receivers so at least it is a very good matchup.

LAR WR Demarcus Robinson - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Chicago Bears

It's going to be super tough to trust any of the Rams receivers while Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua remain out, but Demarcus Robinson is locked into the safest role on the team while the two stars are out. That said, there were a lot of wind sprints out there last week as he only saw 4 targets.

With a difficult matchup on tap against the Bears, who rank 3rd aFPA against wide receivers, this isn't exactly the most comfortable spot to start Robinson if you added him on waivers. Robinson is, at best, a desperation flex play if you need him, but I would look elsewhere.

LAR WR Demarcus Robinson - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs San Francisco 49ers

With Puke Nacua and Cooper Kupp out, Demarcus Robinson moves into the defacto WR1 role for the Rams. Given the overall state of the offense, he doesn't have the upside of Kupp or Nacua, but Robinson at least has proven he can produce in limited opportunities to do so.

It would normally be an exploitable matchup against the 49ers, but given how things look Robinson is more of a flex option even as the WR1 for the Rams. The range of outcomes feels very wide for Robinson given how bad things could go or if the Rams can sustain a few drives and score some points.
